We looked at this blog in one of my classes today. Renee is serving Christ over in Uganda and trusting completely in Him. What an encouragement she is. This girl is my HERO and makes my heart excited for what I can be doing in the future for His kingdom.
Check out Renee's blog and see what amazing work she's doing in Uganda here
Spring spring spring. I'm constantly reminded of how much I love this time of year. After an insane road trip, I'm left with lots of laughs, memories, and sweet friends. Summer is around the corner, which means we're half way done with school. Whaaaaaaaat? So, as this semester is coming to a close, here are just a few things that I think are pretty awesome:
Smith Station High young life leaders. Just the most amazing group of sophomores, minus my girl Sara. Shout out with some love to Spain!
Beautiful, beautiful Auburn University.
Wonderful country roads that the Tom-Tom seems to love. Seriously, how beautiful is that?
Sweet friends that are willing to listen to the same cd with me at least three times.
Delicious, wonderful cookie cakes made by my Davey girl (aka Davis).
Room 314. Holla.
This song. It's awesome.
And last but not least, I am so very thankful for my baby brother, Patrick. His birthday was today and he turned FIFTEEN. Whaaaaaaaat? He's the most precious fifteen year old there is. So give him a hug, a high five, or a super cool card. He deserves it.
Not to be all sentimental or anything, but I remember the day you were born.
In an attempt to make myself feel a little better and ease the sting of another candle on the cake, I'm bringing up an oldie. An embarrassing oldie that was taken from the prime awkward years. Drawn straight from my softball and basketball, rocking way too short hair, snake catching years (his name was Slim Shady, duh) here it is. Feast. Your. Eyes. I'm not sure a birthday was quite as happy as this one. And honestly, I'm fine with that. Nothing, NOTHING, will compare to how great furbies were.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing. -C.S. Lewis
I am a daughter of Christ. A few of my favorite things are natural light, white flowy shirts, all things anthro, freckles and belly laughing. Anything the color blush makes me happy. You can find me on a wrap around porch eating something that was probably baked (maybe by me!). My husband brings me so much joy, it's crazy.
